The July 4th weekend ignited a very busy month that included two golf tournaments, an exciting Play at the Peaks event for the ladies, kids’ camps, a couple of pack trips into Yellowstone Park and a visit by Vice President Joe Biden and his family. Along with those events, members enjoyed golf, hiking, fly fishing, Friday night BBQs, gorgeous weather and much camaraderie. It was a great month and August promises to be even more active!
Major road construction has occurred throughout the Big Sky area, the result will be a system of new and greatly improved roads from which we will all benefit. The local Farmer’s Market in the Town Center and new outdoor concert facility are perfect additions. These enhancements continue to make Big Sky more enjoyable, attractive and special.
One aspect, which has been a cornerstone summer this summer, has been the excellent staff at the Club. One comment sums it all up. As I was walking by the Biden family table (all eleven of them!) I overheard one of the VP’s daughters-in-law say, “this place is so beautiful, but what is really neat is the staff is all so nice and accommodating.” That is what Spanish Peaks is all about: a dedicated staff taking care of wonderful members and guests in an outstanding Montana setting.
There are still two and a half months of a great season ahead of us, so there is a plenty of opportunity to come visit your club and enjoy an outstanding season!
See you at the Club,
General Manager, The Club at Spanish Peaks
